Summary of National Charging Pile Subsidy Policies

Author:

With the continuous development of new energy vehicles, the state has introduced a charging pile subsidy policy to support this environmental protection cause.

A summary of national charging pile subsidy policies is as follows:

With the rapid development of the new energy vehicle industry, the national support for the construction of charging piles has also been continuously increasing. In 2025, all 31 provinces and cities in China have introduced charging pile subsidy policies, covering construction subsidies, operation subsidies, and equipment rewards.

National-level subsidy policies stipulate that the maximum subsidy for DC piles is 800 yuan/kW, and the subsidy standard for AC piles is 350~500 yuan/pile, with an additional 20% subsidy for Community scenarios. In addition, a reward of 300 yuan per kilowatt is given for demonstration charging facilities such as V2G, photovoltaics (storage) charging, and orderly charging piles.

Regarding local policies, subsidy standards vary across regions. For example, Beijing plans to build more than 1,000 super-charging stations and provide free electricity meters and equipment subsidies of up to 200 yuan/kW for residential charging pile installations; Hangzhou, Zhejiang, provides subsidies based on charging volume, with 0.1 yuan per kilowatt-hour; the Pearl River Delta region of Guangdong provides a subsidy of 200 yuan/kW for DC piles, with higher subsidies in the eastern, western, and northern parts of Guangdong; Hunan provides a subsidy of 400 yuan/kW for the construction of charging piles in highway service areas.

In general, national charging pile subsidy policies aim to accelerate the popularization and optimized layout of new energy charging piles and promote the effective extension of charging infrastructure. Specific subsidy standards and application procedures may vary by region. Investors and operators are advised to closely monitor local policy developments to apply for relevant subsidies in a timely manner.

Haidong Bus Group Visits CoolQ JiaNeng for Inspection and Research | Deepening Exchanges, Jointly Exploring New Opportunities for Green Energy Cooperation

Recently, a delegation from Haidong Public Transport Group Co., Ltd. (Haidong Bus Group) paid a visit to Henan Kuqi New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (Kuqi JiaNeng) for an inspection and research tour, as well as a focused exchange. The two parties engaged in in-depth discussions on key areas such as smart charging, battery-swap applications for buses, and the development of zero‑carbon industrial parks, with the aim of deepening cooperation in the new‑energy sector and accelerating the green, low‑carbon transformation of public transportation. They reached several agreements on these fronts.

Major News: The Highway Research Institute of the Ministry of Transport conducted a fact-finding visit to Henan Kuqi New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and the two parties reached an agreement on in-depth cooperation.

Driven by the global energy transition and the “dual carbon” goals, the new‑energy industry is experiencing unprecedented opportunities for growth. Recently, a delegation led by Director Cai Cui and Director Pei Aihui of the Highway Research Institute of the Ministry of Transport paid a special visit to Henan Kuqi New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as “Kuqi New Energy”), conducting an in‑depth inspection and research focused on core areas such as charging‑and‑battery‑swapping systems, energy‑storage technologies, and integrated “photovoltaic‑storage‑charging‑swapping” solutions. This visit not only marked a meaningful collaboration between industry authorities and corporate innovators but also served as a comprehensive review of China’s domestic new‑energy technology capabilities. Let’s explore the key signals this field trip has conveyed.
